Well before I begin let me explain some things to you our main aim is gaining your trust so if it doesn't work I would never recommend it to you. So we want to you to know that anything ( apart from a prediction) we give you is hundred percent true so trust us when we say "we give you the real gist".
Am not going to tell you what the website says but my actual experience because no good business owner will tell you the disadvantage (s) of doing business or have a transaction with him or her ( not because the want to cheat you but because doing business with them has more advantages than disadvantage) but I will tell you my story with them. if in case you don't want my story but are in a hurry to see the reasons just skip all this and scroll down.

        After I had finished  my apprenticeship on phone repaires my dad suggested I go to a village which he felt no one had started that kind of business. But I was surprised to note that many were already thriving in that aspect, instead of giving up and finding a better place to start I stayed but knew I need to be better if I was going to be successful but how? so after sometime I noted that getting spare was a real trouble there one had to leave the entire local government on a certain day which was the market day ( mainly Saturday) those of you who had ever lived in a village understand what am saying.
So many at times the would get there but then buying the part would become impossible because the may search the entire market and not find what the wanted which was a waste of time, money and get customers angry you know getting their hopes dashed on the wall. And also you know village people the would even feel the person wants to cheat them. Some time it would take months before that thing will be bought it was so frustrating. But not only that sometimes accidents occur on the way and the goods get destroyed or even armed robbery takes place and a lot of other things. so I started thinking of ways to solve it when talking to a neibour who runs a bet9ja shop nearby on an on related topic out of the blue suggested jumia to me. When I got home I thought about it and decided to try it but when I got the point where I was asked for my card number ( MasterCard or verve I don't even remember) I stopped afraid that I maybe defrauded it was until the next day when I asked him if it was normal and he said yes it was then that I had my first transaction with them and since then I have been. And oh I was able to ' steal ' the hearts of all their other customers and till I left there I was the best phone repair guy around that place. So believe me when I say it helps a lot to shop at jumia.
Now to my reasons;
1. The are legit and real : as I have said earlier we would never mislead you it would not help us in any way instead it would make or blog irrelevant and useless.
2. the do a lot of promos like the 10% return of any amount of you spend on buying things from them.
3.It saves you from all the things I mentioned earlier like destruction of goods waste of time and money etc.
4. It saves you from waste of time once again because with them I don't have to leave my shop to buy anything I could shop while even working.

 Disadvantages
as you all know everything with an advantage almost always have a downside so here the are;
1. They don't always accept return of goods. So you have to be very careful when shopping with them.
2. No bargaining or 'pricing' .
This is not the normal Nigerian market where you could bargain on stuff because their prices are usually fixed.
But they offer lots of discount especially on Fridays ( aka black Fridays) so you have nothing to worry about.
